Reservations & Payments

Tours and Packages

To confirm a tour or travel package booking, a deposit of 50% of the total program price is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to arrival.

For bookings made within 40 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

Individual Services

For standalone services such as private transfers, guiding services, tickets, or other individual arrangements, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

Payment Methods

Payments may be made by major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club)

or by bank transfer.

No additional credit card fees are applied.

All prices are quoted in euros (€) unless otherwise stated and include applicable VAT

In accordance with Croatian and EU regulations.

Client-Friendly Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel a confirmed reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:

- Up to 30 days before arrival: Full refund, less a 10% administrative fee per person

- 21–29 days before arrival: 50% of the total program price is non-refundable

- 14–7 days before arrival: 100% of the total program price is non-refundable

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original method of payment.

Please note that certain services (such as tickets, special events, or third-party experiences) may be subject to stricter supplier cancellation terms, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

Changes, Supplier Cancellations & Substitutions

In the unlikely event that a confirmed service provider (including hotels, transport companies, guides, or ticket issuers) is unable to deliver a booked service, Equilibri Travel will make every effort to arrange a suitable alternative of equal or comparable value, at no additional cost to the client.

If no reasonable alternative can be secured, a refund will be issued for the affected service only, in line with the applicable supplier policy. Minor changes that do not materially affect the overall quality, structure, or intent of the travel program do not constitute grounds for cancellation without fees.

Amendments & Program Changes

Requests for changes to confirmed arrangements (including dates, accommodations or services)must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. Changes requested within 40 days of arrival may incur additional fees. All itineraries are subject to availability at the time of booking. Should a listed hotel be unavailable, a comparable alternative of equal standard will be offered. Prices are based on standard double rooms unless otherwise specified. Room upgrades are available on request and may affect the final price.

Final confirmation and detailed travel documents will be issued after full payment is received.

Programs are designed for leisure travel and may involve moderate walking during guided sightseeing.

Responsibility & Liability

Equilibri Travel acts as an intermediary between clients and independent service providers such as hotels, transport companies, guides, restaurants, and activity operators. While we carefully select and work with trusted partners, Equilibri Travel cannot be held liable for:

- Delays, cancellations, schedule changes, or service disruptions caused by weather, strikes,

technical issues, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control

- Any loss, accident, injury, illness, damage, or irregularity occurring during travel

- Additional expenses arising from unforeseen events, including but not limited to ferry cancellations, flight delays, or natural conditions

Equilibri Travel cannot guarantee outcomes or performance beyond confirmed arrangements.

Any expectations outside the agreed services must be clarified in writing prior to travel.

Travel Requirements

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all passport, visa, health, vaccination,and entry requirements applicable to their destination.

Equilibri Travel cannot be held responsible for denied boarding or entry due to incomplete, invalid, or missing documentation.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal belongings, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

All bookings with Equilibri Travel are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia and applicable European Union regulations. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Croatia.
